The path of love is endless
With footsteps left behind
He walks within God's Glory
With memories that bind

For in our hearts forever
His love remains right here
In each of us who loved him
His spirit now is near

Courage born in glory
That helps so much to share
So thankful for life's presence
The shawl that you now wear

Within the days that follow
Or roads in life we've made
We'll feel his love forever
By foundation he has laid

For life it was a blessing
Because of Derrick's heart
It beats within us daily
It always has a part

Child's sweet heart is beating
With rhythm of his love
As Daddy watches always
From clouds so high above

Hands now joined together
In spirit that was blessed
For every moment counted
With all the love he left

Time it has no meaning
His soul with you he shares
Guiding you with courage
His footsteps always there.

Derrick A. Brown, of Wisconsin, 35 year old husband
and father lost his battle with cancer on July 1, 2003.
He leaves behind his beloved wife Michelle and daughter,
Serena Elizabeth. He also is survived by his parents,
Raymond W. and Donna Brown, Bessemer; a sister,
Michelle (Mike) Parra and nephew Joshua Fix,

all of Steamboat Springs, Colorado.

He is also survived by a brother Patrick, of
Michigan and his maternal grandmother,

Mary Ulianelli, Hurley. Also the paternal grandson

 of the late Raymond L. and Arthen Brown.

We offer our deepest condolences during this difficult time
and pray that you find comfort in knowing that he is always
with you in spirit through love.
