Days we shared together
Memories are sublime
Special days together
Forever etched in time

Support and love you showed me
On these things I depend
Like cookies in Mom's special jar
That never had an end

When days are sad and gloomy
I think of you and say
You were there for me
Within my heart you'll stay

Now that we are older
We'll go our separate ways
Memories we stored away
Are there for rainy days

Like cookies so inviting
That sat within the jar
We'll always be together
Whether near or far

Days that I remember
They bring a warming glow
Just like Mama's cookies
Our love will overflow.
