We hear their names in summer winds The echo of where love begins All the times  we shared our life Now moments filled with so much strife   Our precious ones now gone away Through violence on the path their way Making sense is hard to do When life is scarring bits of you   We seek the answers but can't find The joy of life and peace of mind Remembered in our special time Our memories are all combined   When days are sad and life is blue Our thoughts and prayers are all with you For all you've lost within life's glow Such darkness in the paths we know   And yet we see a spark remains Of all the love in life's refrain You are always in our hearts A piece of you that never parts   We light a candle in the wind It flickers with love we send Remembering the life and times It captures love you left behind.   ~ Francine Pucillo ~ ©Copyright June 28, 2006   "In Memory of those lost through Violence"
