Breath of life has entered
Heart is filled with glee
Dawn of love's creation
My child my gift to me

Little hands to touch me
Smile that fills my soul
Soft and warm your presence
Upon my heart your scroll

Tender and so gentle
This feeling of delight
Motherhood a joyous gift
My child my special light

Today I feel you reaching
You lay upon my chest
So innocent and loving
