The heart is never empty
With memories and prayer
A flicker of a candle
Love's shadow always there
The glow of someone's spirit
That always gives a light
Each heart of love unending
Upon our souls so bright
A moment that we treasure
Because he gave us love
Continues in a gentleness
That brings us moments of
Gifts in life he gave us
For every moment here
The smiles upon our faces
For every special year
Within the garden resting
With flowers that abound
His chair awaits his presence
With peace that he has found
No burden ever heavy
When he would hold our hand
His love was there with kindness
His heart would understand
The promise of tomorrow
It lives with us each day
For all the words remembered
The love won't fade away
With yesterdays to treasure
With memories to share
Our hearts join in this miracle
For us he's always there.
