For this special day
A pot of gold plenty
To far and sweet places
Where memories abound
Where grass is as green as
With meadows serene
All washed with the bounty
Of God's love supreme
A taste of life's bounty
That fills you with glee
That captures a moment
Of all harmony
A place you can go to
Whenever you're sad
To lift up your spirit
Wear green and be glad
Dancing with spirit
With echoes so clear
A Happy St. Patrick's
To those far and near
So join in the glory
Today have your wish
You need not be Irish
I promise you this
Let's all join together
Enjoy life today
