Upon my heart is written
Words that come my way
In solitude I welcome
Writings on this day

Emotions that are in me
What my heart designs
Precious thoughts unfolding
My soul in me opines

Need a gentle place to go
I can take you there
Mountain or a hilltop
Close your eyes you're there

Stream with crystal shining
Where you can place your hand
Coolness of the water beckons
Your heart and mind expands

Green grass touched with velvet
Where you now calmly rest
Close your eyes this miracle
Within your mind so blest

Need a place to get away
Journey that's so grand
Peace and love within the words
Life's poet takes your hand.
