So long ago I walked here
My spirit fills the sky
Watching from a distance
My heart begins to sigh

Birds that sang a special song
I hear them in the sky
Footprints that I once made
I see them from on high

Heart is left within this place
No day now passes by
That I don't see the beauty of
God's radiant reply

Walking down this path again
So happy I can boast
Take each step with reverence
So glad to be your host

Come and walk with me this day
I'll show God's special Light
The special gift He gives us all
The beauty of His Sight

Remember me in days gone by
Feel the love I send
It's waiting for you patiently
Just beyond the bend.
