My heart I gave with sweet caress
Thought that you'd be there
Hours that I spent with you
They're locked in me somewhere

Times that my heart spoke to you
Each word was meant sincere
Loving you was sweetest gift
Wrapped in soft cashmere

No time erases tenderness
They're held within my soul
They seep so deeply in my heart
With words that I now scroll

None will love you more than I
These words pass through my mind
I wonder if you hear them now
Though souls are not aligned

Deep within this chambered heart
Where once I held you close
The memories will fade away
As petals falls from rose

Upon the ground the velvet lay
I gather each with care
Treasure of the love I gave
My endless love affair.
