I wonder if you hear me
The words that I will speak
Will they have a meaning
Find comfort that you seek

Will I touch your spirit
With love beyond compare
My joy in life to do this
To let you be aware

That feelings are so special
When gathered in the heart
Words that rhyme forever
Will be my special art

See within your mind
The love that follows me
As I pen these words
It's my heart you now see

If these words find meaning
That goes so deep within
Then the floral greetings
With parchment will begin

Falling with sweet tenderness
Love in words we share
This to be my testament
The poet's daily prayer.
